New SU staff to serve the Chicago area
Syracuse University is pleased to announce the appointment of two new staff members to serve the Chicago region. Elizabeth Feist and Robert Walton both joined the University in the fall of 2014 and look forward to working with Syracuse alumni, friends, parents, and prospective students and families in the Midwest.
Feist is Syracuse’s new director of regional advancement for the Chicago area. For the past seven years, Feist has been a fundraiser for small liberal arts colleges including Hamilton College and her alma mater, Cornell College. While at Cornell, she was a major gift fundraiser managing the College’s most populous region—the greater Chicago area.
Originally from the Midwest, Feist and her husband, Cameron, son Benjamin, and lazy but beloved beagle, Tobey, moved to Central New York in 2013. Feist can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Walton serves as director of admissions for the Chicago area. He’s worked in college admissions since 2002, always with a portion of the Chicago region included in his recruitment territory. Before coming to Syracuse, Walton worked for six years in undergraduate admissions at Northwestern University. Walton earned an undergraduate degree from Clarke University and an MBA from Elmhurst College.
A Chicagoland native, he thoroughly enjoys working with prospective students, families, and alumni from the region. Contact Walton at email@example.com.
